The Central African Republic NAPs

The Central African Republic (CAR) adopted its first National Action Plan (NAP) in 2014 for the period 2014-2016. This was a joint effort between the Ministry of Social Affairs, National Solidarity, Gender Promotion, Civil Society Organizations, and the United Nations Integrated Peacebuilding Office CAR. The NAP speaks to five overarching strategies including conflict prevention; protection of civilians in conflict; and increasing women’s participation in decision-making spaces.
