The Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) is on its second generation National Action Plan (NAP) which was developed in 2018 for the period 2019-2022. This provides a detailed overview of DRC implementation of their first-generation NAP and how they have achieved positive developments and the current challenges the country is facing. The NAP is in sync with the National Gender Policy and it focuses on advancing the rights of women and girls in conflict and aims to eradicate violence against women and girls.
The second-generation NAP includes a standalone chapter that focuses on the status report for the findings of the implementation of the first NAP, including lessons learned and best practices.
